It is ELOHIM’s command to us during the series of Prayer and Fasting for the Nations Philippines and Israel, June 2005 to the present.
• To remind ISRAEL and the nations of the world, that the Philippine government voted for Israel to become a nation in the year 1948, by Resident Commissioner to the United Nations Gen. Carlos P. Romulo under the presidency of Manuel Roxas, First President of the 3rd Republic of the Philippines.
"Who has heard such a thing? Who has seen such things? Can a land be born in one day? Can a nation be brought forth all at once? As soon as Zion travailed, she also brought forth her. Isaiah 66:8
• The people of Israel will always cherish the gesture of President Manuel Quezon, who in the 1940’s allowed the entry to the Philippines of 10,000 Jews escaping from Nazi Germany and thus saving their lives in Marikina City. In addition, the support of the Republic of the Philippines at the United Nations during the Partition Plan Vote on 29 November 1947 in which the Philippines, among the 33 countries, was the only Asian country to support the creation of a Jewish State in Palestine.
BIBLICAL BASIS
• All you inhabitants of the world and dwellers on earth, as soon as a standard is raised on the mountains, you will see it, and as soon as the trumpet is blown, you will hear it. For thus YAHWEH has told me, “I will look from My dwelling place quietly like dazzling heat in the sunshine, like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.” For before the harvest, as soon as the bud blossoms and the flower becomes a ripening grape, then He will cut off the sprigs with pruning knives and remove and cut away the spreading branches. They will be left together for mountain birds of prey, and for the beasts of the earth; and the birds of prey will spend the summer feeding on them, and all the beasts of the earth will spend harvest time on them. At that time a gift of homage will be brought to YAHWEH of hosts from a people tall and smooth, even from a people feared far and wide, a powerful and oppressive nation, whose land the rivers divide—to the place of the name of YAHWEH of hosts, even Mount Zion. Isaiah 18:3-7
• Thus says YAHWEH ELOHIM, “Behold, I will lift up My hand to the nations and set up My standard to the peoples; and they will bring your sons in their bosom, and your daughters will be carried on their shoulders. Isaiah 49:22
• Go through, go through the gates, clear the way for the people; Build up, build up the highway, remove the stones, lift up a standard over the peoples. Behold, YAHWEH has proclaimed to the end of the earth, say to the daughter of Zion, “Lo, your salvation comes; Behold His reward is with Him, and His recompense before Him.” And they will call them, “The holy people, the redeemed of YAHWEH”; and you will be called, “Sought out, a city not forsaken.” Isaiah 62:10-12
• "Lift up a standard toward Zion! Seek refuge, do not stand still, for I am bringing evil from the north, and great destruction. "A lion has gone up from his thicket, and a destroyer of nations has set out; He has gone out from his place to make your land a waste. Your cities will be ruins without inhabitant. Jer 4:6-7
• He will also lift up a standard to the distant nation, and will whistle for it from the ends of the earth; and behold, it will come with speed swiftly. No one in it is weary or stumbles, none slumbers or sleeps; nor is the belt at its waist undone, nor its sandal strap broken. Its arrows are sharp and all its bows are bent; the hoofs of its horses seem like flint and its chariot wheels like a whirlwind. Its roaring is like a lioness, and it roars like young lions; It growls as it seizes the prey and carries it off with no one to deliver it. And it will growl over it in that day like the roaring of the sea if one looks to the land, behold, there is darkness and distress; even the light is darkened by its clouds. Isaiah 5:26-30
• Then in that day the nations will resort to the root of Jesse, who will stand as a signal for the peoples; and His resting place will be glorious.
The Restored Remnant, Then it will happen on that day that YAHWEH will again recover the second time with His hand the remnant of His people, who will remain, from Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. And He will lift up a standard for the nations and assemble the banished ones of Israel, and will gather the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. Then the jealousy of Ephraim will depart, and those who harass Judah will be cut off; Ephraim will not be jealous of Judah, and Judah will not harass Ephraim. They will swoop down on the slopes of the Philistines on the west; together they will plunder the sons of the east; they will possess Edom and Moab, and the sons of Ammon will be subject to them. And YAHWEH will utterly destroy the tongue of the Sea of Egypt; and He will wave His hand over the River with His scorching wind; and He will strike it into seven streams and make men walk over dry-shod. And there will be a highway from Assyria for the remnant of His people who will be left, just as there was for Israel in the day that they came up out of the land of Egypt. Isaiah 11:10-16
• "His rock will pass away because of panic, and his princes will be terrified at the standard,” declares YAHWEH, whose fire is in Zion and whose furnace is in Jerusalem. Isaiah 31:9
• "Declare and proclaim among the nations proclaim it and lift up a standard do not conceal it but say, ‘ Babylon has been captured, Bel has been put to shame, Marduk has been shattered; Her images have been put to shame, her idols have been shattered.’ Jeremiah 50:2
• Lift up a signal against the walls of Babylon ; post a strong guard, station sentries, place men in ambush! For YAHWEH has both purposed and performed what He spoke concerning the inhabitants of Babylon. Jeremiah 51:12
• Lift up a standard on the bare hill, raise your voice to them, Wave the hand that they may enter the doors of the nobles. Isaiah 13:2
• We will sing for joy over your victory, and in the name of our ELOHIM we will set up our banners may YAHWEH fulfill all your petitions Psalms 20:5
• "You are as beautiful as Tirzah, my darling, as lovely as Jerusalem, as awesome as an army with banners. Song of Solomon 6:4
• One thousand will flee at the threat of one man; You will flee at the threat of five, until you are left as a flag on a mountain top and as a signal on a hill. Isaiah 30:17
• "Ho, Zion! Escape, you who are living with the daughter of Babylon.” For thus says YAHWEH of hosts, “After glory He has sent me against the nations which plunder you, for he who touches you, touches the apple of His eye. Zechariah 2:7-8
