MUSLIM and CHRISTIAN students of MSU in the Islamic City of Marawi move as one as they unfold the Philippine National flag, Guinness World Record second largest. The flag laid open on the grounds for 3 days.

“Thus says the LORD, stop lying, whoever divides My and will surely die”.
(Bible: Joel 3:1-8)

SULTAN CAMLON MONER responded to the apology of AMB. GRACE GUPANA (right in red) by extending forgiveness to Christian Filipinos and in turn apologized for any wrongdoings of Muslim Filipinos toward their Christian brethren to foster peace and unity, ordained by the Holy Spirit of God.

Genuine Peace and Development NOT DIVISION

To the thunderous applause of over a thousand students, faculty, and top officials of MSU (Mindanao State University), the premier university of Mindanao’s Islamic region located in the beautiful Islamic City of Marawi, God’s Ambassador of Goodwill Grace Galindez Gupana passionately declared, “Mindanao is not for sale, Mindanao is not for sale!” at the unfurling of the Philippines’ largest flag on the school’s grounds on Wednesday, August 6, 2008.

Amb. Gupana said that the flag was unfurled as a powerful proclamation of “unity of the Filipino people and more significantly, God’s ownership, sovereignty and reign over Mindanao and the whole Philippines.” She reminded the enthusiastic audience that  “Mindanao is your inheritance… we are your brothers and sisters, there is only One Philippines – of Muslims, Christians, Maranaos, Lumads … we are one! “

In his response, MSU President, Atty Macapado Muslim exhorted the university’s  constituency and guests, “Let us move forward together in the spirit of unity and brotherhood!”

Ms. Gupana, maker and bearer of the gigantic national colors, in a moving gesture called “identificational repentance,” asked forgiveness on behalf of Filipino Christians, “for the negative attitudes, feelings and thoughts we have harbored against you, for the negative, unfair words we have said against you because of the negative, deceptive  propaganda that we were made to believe against you for many years -  propaganda that originated from our common enemy, Satan, who the Bible says has come to ‘destroy, steal and kill.’ “

The act of humility was accepted by Sultan Moner representing the Muslim constituency. Almost in tears, the Sultan also apologized on behalf of his people for the “‘wrongdoings we have done against Christians.” It was a very touching ceremony that manifested reconciliation and solidarity – a supernatural move that can only be attributed to the orchestration of God’s Spirit.

Ms. Gupana also reminded her Muslim audience (and reiterated in her talks with MSU officials after the unfurling program), that “ we have every reason to unite because we are actually brothers – we come from the same spiritual root and lineage – Muslims descended from Ishmael and Christians from Isaac who are both sons of the great patriarch, Abraham in the Old Testament.”

Gifts which she called “peace offerings” were presented by Ms. Gupana to the  MSU officials representing the Muslim community which included a replica of the biblical Ark of the Covenant. In the Old Testament, the Ark signified the Presence of God Almighty and contained three items primary of which was the 10 Commandments, considered as common moral code of Jews, Muslims and Christians.

In a gesture “acknowledging your Maharlika heritage and leadership,” the Ambassador of Goodwill also placed malongs in sablai fashion to representatives of Muslim youth, local leaders, royalty, educators, military and women. She also stressed that “ “these symbolize your  mantle of leadership and royalty” and declared in faith that the Muslim populace of Mindanao will be given their rightful share of the abundant resources of their region.

AMB. GRACE GUPANA and team turned over to PRES. MUSLIM, ABS Herbs herbal medicines, ABS 7 Bitter Herbs is internationally known and effective being used by Diabetic and Hypertensive people, T-shirts, and food for the MSU students and staff as a peace offering.

The assembly applauded as Mrs. Gupana Declared in the vernacular “the Philippines is not for sale, Mindanao is not for sale. Mindanao is your inheritance and we are your brothers and sisters. There is but one Filipino people – Muslims, Maranao, Christians, Luman, we are still one.”
